Well...
I can't really talk about sard-le-rouge withou talking about the "Tonneaux Joyeux" and of course I can't talk about them without Conquest of mythodea....
Lets starts by the end.
Conquest of mythodea is a LARP (live action rôleplaying event) possibly the largest on the european continent so far. With over 5000 participant. Where everyone dresses up as a medival character (or better a fantasy character) and lives adventure for a four days of marvel. The event is hold in germany and thier website well tell much more then me...
Well because germany is far.. and a part of Switzerland does not speak German, (well I do, but I care about other you see... kinda stupid isn'it it ?) Well it happened that a push of happy fellows funded a little groupe who's organising a trip to germany every year for the Conquest of mythodea. The groups is composed mainly of frensh-speaking Swiss but other people found thier way and all are welcome.
Meanwhile the tonneaux joyeux (happy barrel) are over 100 people and growing. Even not everyone is present everyears it's a great place. And mostly we play mercanaries. Even there are spin offs like the toten tonneaux who play undead since 2009.
Well back to sard the red, Well its the character I play there. He hold for a few years the diplomatic representation of the groups and it was a funny and dangerous task (which I might talk about later).
in 2008 Sard was seduced by the imortaly of the undead (and the lower entry price for undeads to the game) and has join them. Last year his soul was captured in to a jar by a demon. (Hey dont shoot its just for play, no real demon was harmed). And well we will see want happens next with this and who's gona be possed by the soul of Sard-le-rouge.... Meanwhile I will report. from my bottle.
Speaking of conquest of mythodea, the price have gone allready up a lot... 95€, and if u think that I usualy pay for my gf that makes a lot money.... well fun has its price...
